RESHAWN SHAMAR BEST of Pilgrim Lane, Christ Church, is scheduled to reappear in court later this month on drug charges.

Best, 20, was charged with possession of cannabis, possession with intent to supply cannabis, trafficking and importation.

These offences were allegedly committed at the Seawell Air Services Bond on April 13 where Best went to clear a shipment consigned to him.

On inspection of the shipment by customs officers, five transparent packages containing cannabis were reportedly discovered among baby items. The matter was reported to the police and Best was subsequently arrested and charged.

When Best appeared before Magistrate Douglas Fredericks in the District ‘A’ Magistrates Court on Saturday, he was granted bail to the sum of $5 000 with one surety, to reappear in the District ‘B’ Court on April 20. (PR/SAT)
