BARBADOS PRIDE and Jamaica Scorpions look set for an interesting duel on the final day of their last-round Digicel Regional 4-Day match at Kensington Oval today.

An unbroken half-century stand between Chadwick Walton and Trevon Griffith kept Jamaica Scorpions in the match after their bowlers restricted the home team to a second innings total of 187 earlier in the day.

Set 341 to win, the Scorpions closed on 114 for one, with Walton not out on 70 and the left-handed Griffith unbeaten on 25.

At the start of play Barbados refused to enforce the follow on after dismissing Jamaica for 224 the previous evening in reply to the hosts’ 377. (PH)
