THE IMPRESSIVE Nkosi Dunwoody collected his fifth gold medal on Tuesday for Barbados to swim away with 39 medals at the end of day four of the XXXII CARIFTA Swimming Championships in Nassau, Bahamas.
The medal count gained at the Betty Kelly-Kenning Complex comprised 12 gold, 16 silver and 11 bronze.
Dunwoody, a student of Harrison College, seized his fifth medal in the 100 metres breaststroke with a time of 1:09.98. Jadon Wvuilliez of Antigua took silver in 1:10:39 and Shawn Neely of The Bahamas, bronze, in 1:10.74.
Zachary Taylor added a bronze medal to his haul in the same event in the 11-12 division, clocking 1:15.22. Â (RG)
