PRIME MINISTER FREUNDEL STUART says that despite the difficult times, he remains undaunted, and he wants the Dems to be too.
Stuart was speaking at a service at Bethesda Tabernacle, Vauxhall, Christ Church yesterday to mark the ruling Democratic Labour Party’s (DLP) 62nd anniversary. He told the gathering: “I would not have wanted to be Prime Minister of Barbados at any other time than the present time because I love difficult times.
“It is during difficult times that you really know who you are. It is during difficult times that the strength of your character is tested and the strength of character of the people you lead.”
Stuart said over the last few years Barbados had been going through economic challenges like other countries, but he remained focused on what had to be done. (LK)
