JENNIFER PETERS is the winner of Starcom Network’s The Dubai Experience promotion.
The Prior Park Garden, St James woman and her son René will be jetting off to United Arab Emirates, courtesy of the promotion. She was presented with her prize on Thursday at Esso’s Black Rock Service Station.
Peters said the prize was a surprise since it was her son who filled the car with gas and then entered her name on the winning entry form.
“I got a call and I was ecstatic. I wasn’t sure what to say because I had no idea,” she said.
René explained that he put his mother’s name on the form since he travelled often.
“It was something we always wanted to do and I am glad we have the opportunity,” he said.
Both mother and son said the Black Rock station was their filling station of choice.
“This is our gas station. We know all the workers,” said Jennifer Peters.
Manager of the station, Paul Williams, said he was surprised when he heard the winning entry came from his outlet.
“We are very delighted to have that winner from here,” the manager said. (HLE)
