Woman charged in stabbing death remanded

A JAMAICAN WOMAN charged in connection with the death of a compatriot has been remanded to HMP Dodds.

Tedesha Annjuliet Hayles, 26, was not required to plead to the indictable charge of serious bodily harm in the death of 34-year-old Shockaya Natalya Boyd.

Hayles was remanded until May 26 when she appeared before Magistrate Douglas Fredericks in the District A Magistrates Court on Saturday.

The two women were involved in an altercation around 2:30 a.m. Friday and Boyd was stabbed and killed at Jemmotts Lane, St Michael. (PR/SAT)
