CICS launching tomorrow

THE OFFICIAL LAUNCH of the Community Independence Celebrations Secretariat’s (CICS) 2017 programme will take place tomorrow May 13, at King George V Memorial Park, St Philip, beginning at 1 p.m.

It will be held under the theme, Celebrating Community Spirit: Inspiring Strength and Unity.

During the launch, patrons will be introduced to this year’s Parish Independence Committees and Ambassadors. There will also be performances from Red Plastic Bag, past parish talent winners, Hilda Skeene Primary School and many more.

Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth Stephen Lashley, will deliver the feature address. (BGIS)
