AS SHE DID in life, Toni Barrow will ride her bike into the afterlife.
The 43-year-old, of Paradise Gap, Spooners Hill, St Michael, died on May 1 when the motorcycle she was riding struck a sidewalk at Barbarees Hill, St Michael.
Her final wishes were granted as she got to be on her bike one last time as a casket was traded for a bike yesterday at Brian Bentham’s Funeral Services in Bush Hall, St Michael.
Bentham told the SATURDAY SUN he felt proud of the work considering it was the first time he had done such an arrangement.
He said it was a challenge, taking over ten hours to complete and using particular devices and an embalming technique.
The family and friends viewing the body yesterday were all satisfied with the final result.
Barrow’s body will be cremated following a service of thanksgiving at 10 o’clock this morning at the Better Life Assembly, Hindsbury Road. (AD)
