A CHRIST CHURCH MOTHER is questioning what is going on at the Government Industrial School (GIS) for girls after she claimed her child had been badly beaten by other students.

Deborah Small, of Sargeant’s Village, told the MIDWEEK NATION the school had informed her yesterday that her 16-year-old daughter had been in an altercation at school and had been taken to a doctor.

Small is upset because she said this was not the first time her daughter had been attacked.

“I went to a meeting there in March and she had a big mark on her face. The staff told me she get in an altercation with some other girls, so I went to see the principal and he assured me it wouldn’t happen again,” she said. (CA)
