FIRE OFFICERS ARE at this moment trying to fully extinguish a fire at Adams Castle Estate, Christ Church.

Acting deputy chief fire officer Errol Gaskin said when the first team to arrive on the scene around 5 p.m. found the building fully engulfed.

“At that time they realised there was shortage of water and the tanker was requested from headquarters station which is now on the scene so we have two water tenders and one water tanker.

“The fire is contained and at this time we are bringing it to a conclusion,” he said just after 8 p.m. (NB)
