Porey Spring, UWI in KO clash

FRESH FROM GAINING promotion to the Premier League, Porey Spring will get a taste of what it will be like to play against the top flight teams when they oppose UWI Blackbirds in the third round of the Stag Beer Champions Cup.

The draw for the Round of 32, which will begin on June 5, was made at the Barbados Football Association’s headquarters in Wildey yesterday.

Five-time champions Paradise will have a tricky encounter against their Christ Church neighbours, Silver Sands while there will also be a showdown between two long-standing rivals, in defending champions Weymouth Wales and Pride of Gall Hill.

Another interesting clash will be between neighbours Brittons Hill and Dayrells Road. (RA)
