St Gabriel’s, Bay Primary top scorers

ST GABRIEL’S pulled out all the stops to defeat St Bartholomew 5-0 as the National Sports Council’s BICO Primary Schools’ Football Competition continued yesterday.

Bay Primary also netted five goals, but their opponents, Hilltop Preparatory, were able to score a consolation goal.

Of the 19 games played, three schools were each able to score four goals against their opponents. St Angela’s defeated Vauxhall 4-0, while St Lucy defeated Half Moon Fort 4-1.

The day’s most outstanding individual performance came from Providence’s Spencer Haslette, who converted a hat-trick against Workman’s. With Aaron Blackett adding another goal, Providence won 4-0. (RA)
