Family in row with Sparman

A GRENADIAN ATTORNEY wants answers and his family’s money back from local cardiologist Dr Alfred Sparman.

In a report from Grenadian television station CC6’s Flow 1 News, which is currently making the rounds on social media, Stefan Ali, the nephew of a deceased Grenadian teacher Sherwin Natoo, has accused the local doctor of refusing to refund the Natoo family the more than $60 000 he charged for a defibrillator that was not implanted.

Natoo died while undergoing treatment at the Sparman Clinic in Belleville, St Michael, in 2014.

When contacted, Sparman refused to comment, citing patient/doctor privilege. When pressed further, he referred the DAILY NATION to his attorney Sir Richard Cheltenham, who issued a statement yesterday. (HLE)
