Riley-Fox group ‘saves’ three homes

A GROUP SET UP to save the home of Barbadian businesswoman Ann Riley-Fox has been helping others whose houses were also threatened with foreclosure by banks.

Heather Cole, Judy Forde and Riley-Fox, who formed the group Fairness In Action, have so far helped three Barbadians to keep their homes.

Cole, who resides in the United States, told the SUNDAY SUN during a telephone interview that a number of people had reached out to them for assistance after the group was formed last year.

“We have helped three people so far who have had their mortgages refinanced and we are presently working on a few others. In my opinion, if we save one person’s house, we did something great for that person’s lifelong investment. (MB)
