Goal fest in Premier League

PARADISE, Notre Dame and dethroned former champions Barbados Defence Force Sports Programme (BDFSP) ended the season with victories on the final day of action in the Digicel Premier League at the Wildey AstroTurf on Sunday night.

Paradise condemned Belfield to the foot of the table and relegation, while simultaneously securing a fourth-place finish with a hard-fought 2-1 win.

Chai Lloyd gave Paradise the lead in the 32nd minute but Henderson Richards replied for Belfield in the 66th minute to level matters.

Mario Williams then snatched victory for Paradise in the final moments of the game, striking in the 94th to end his side’s season on a high. (ML)
