FOR THE SECOND TIME this month, a tremor was recorded off the coast of Barbados.
Equipment at the University of the West Indies Seismic Research Centre detected a tremor of 4.1 magnitude around 1:08 a.m.
It was located at Latitude 12.18N and Longitude 59.91W, some 108km south southwest of Bridgetown and 144km northeast of Scarborough, Trinidad and Tobago, at a depth of 10km.
One woman on social media jokingly said it was in response to the Budget which was delivered yesterday in the House of Assembly.
It was the second earthquake this month.
On May 2 around 8:14 a.m., the Centre recorded a 4.2 tremor at Latitude 13.8North and Longitude 59.06 West at a depth of 10km. It was approximately 98km northeast of the capital. (SAT)
