THERE IS NO more Soka Kartel to the world. Instead, there is The Alliance with MR BLOOD (Anderson Armstrong), Mikey (Michael Mercer) and Kirk Brown and the Energy Band.
MR BLOOD made the announcement of the band’s dissolution on STARCOM radio on Tuesday.
WEEKEND BUZZ reached out to Mikey, who said the band had reached a low point in the last two years and the swansong of Soka Kartel was in 2016.
“The last two years was kinda rough, I must admit. But we still battled through. Soka Kartel was together from 2010 to 2016,” he said, while blaming part of the break up on the lack of bands being used for shows. (NS)
