A 26-YEAR-OLD St George man has become the latest victim of violent crime in Barbados.
The body of Omar Ricardo Douglas of Dash Valley was discovered along Monroe Road, Haggatt Hall, St Michael, on Friday night.
In a media release, Police say they received a report of the body of a man lying in a pool of blood around 8:25 p.m. and discovered Douglas with “what appears to be gunshot injuries to the body”.
Investigations are continuing and anyone who can provide any information is asked to contact the District ‘A’ Police Station at 4307242 or 4327260, emergency No. 211, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIPS (8477) or the nearest police station.
