A TOYOTA VAN was destroyed after it burst into flames last night on the compound of the Rubis Service Station at Harmony Hall, St Michael.
It was driven by Harry Clarke of Fustic Village, St Lucy.
Police say Clarke pulled into the service station after 9 p.m. and smoke was seen coming from the vehicle’s engine before it burst into flames.
One fire tender and three fire officers under the command of Leading Fire Officer Charles Holligan responded to the blaze.
No one was injured and there was no damage to the station. (PR/NB)
