THE BARBADOS-BASED GROUP Caribbean Against Apartheid In Palestine (CAAP) says it will be picketing the Israeli Trade Conference, which starts this morning at Hilton Barbados.
The picket will be at the corner of Aquatic Gap and Bay Street, St Michael, starting at 8 a.m. and lasting for an hour.
CAAP secretary Lalu Hanuman said the action was necessary since millions in Palestine had been subjected to oppression.
“The Republic of Israel of today has more in common with apartheid South Africa than it does with any biblical kingdom of Israel.” (BA)
