THE Barbados Under-15 national football team has captured bronze at the end of the international friendly tournament in French St Maarten, falling to the host country after a penalty shootout 4-2 in the semi-final.
The team came third behind St Maarten, who placed second, and Guyana who copped the gold award.
Overall, the local boys played four games, winning three with one ending in a draw.
They drew against Guyana 0-0, and went on to beat BVI 6-0, Dominica 4-2 and Martinique 3-0. (RA)
