FIVE MORE LESTER Vaughan Secondary School students have appeared in the District “D” Magistrates’ court charged with assaulting a schoolmate. This brings the total to nine.
Three are 15 years old and two are 14.
Four of the students pleaded not guilty to the charge of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and were granted $500 bail.
They will return to court on August 10.
The other student, a 15-year-old, pleaded guilty and was remanded to the Government Industrial School at Dodds until July 4.
The charges stem from a May 17 incident in which in Lester Vaughn student was chased and kicked about the body. (TKS)
