IT IS TIME to do it, and so today 2015 Midsummer Creole Classic winner Donicodidit is tipped to break his winless jinx for this year with a victory in the 5:30 p.m. feature – The St Ann’s Garrison Handicap over 1 800 metres.
The PDD syndicate-owned colt has been very consistent even when heavily burdened with weights. Today’s increment of 122 pounds will definitely work in his favour against these runners rated 90-72 and lower.
He will be looking to turn the tables on Spartacus and Stolen, both of whom finished ahead of him the last time the trio met. Spartacus, who is seeking a win double, should again prove to be a tough contender here again with the identical weight he won with.
Stolen can again give another good account but could find a couple contenders just too strong in this test of stamina. (LY)
