UPDATE: Man fatally shot in Black Rock

POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING the unnatural death of a 47-year-old man, and injuries to a 28-year-old woman, which occurred today around 2 p.m., along Black Rock Main Road, St Michael.

Dead is Stephen Leonard Agard of #10 Valley, St George, who was standing outside his parked vehicle, when he was approached by a man who opened fire on him.

The man shot him multiple times about the body before fleeing the scene.

Agard was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. 

Melanie Greenidge, of Rock Dundo St Michael, received a gunshot injury to her right knee as she disembarked a vehicle in the area of the shooting. (PR)
