Woman facing charges for $140 000 in drugs

KEISHA NATASHA GRANDISON, 28, of Brathwaite’s Gap, Dayrells Road Christ Church was arrested and charged today in connection with a number of drug offences.

She was charged with possession, trafficking, possession with intent to supply and importation of cannabis.

The cannabis, with a weight of 17.5 kilogrammes and an estimated street value BDS$140, 000, was found after police conducted a search of a water heater in Grandison’s possession.

Grandison appeared before Magistrate Cuffy-Sargeant in the District ‘A’ Magistrates Court today. She was granted bail at the sum of $10 000 with two sureties and will reappear in Court on the June 12. (PR)
