Low reservoir levels causing water outages

Share post:

THE BARBADOS WATER Authority (BWA) advises businesses and residents in parts of St Michael and Christ Church who are still experiencing low water pressure and outages that the Britton’s Reservoir and the Grandview Reservoir are registering low levels.

This follows the repair of a ruptured 15-inch main on Sunday. Though service returned to normal in some areas the reservoir levels are not high enough for water to reach all affected districts.

BWA engineers are currently conducting an in-depth investigation into the matter.

Tankers will continue to deliver water to affected areas however, priority will be given to essential services.

The BWA apologises for any inconvenience caused and reaffirms its commitment to the delivery of water to all. (PR)
