WAIKI ended prematurely tonight at Pirate’s Cove.

Hundreds flocked to The City venue for the final event this season, under the theme WAIKI Sundays – Final Journey, but it turned rowdy.

Police were called in to restore order at the entrance.

NATIONNews.com understands police told patrons to step back, but fighting broke out and the gates were broken down.

As a result, police brought the event to an early end.

Some people were detained by the Task Force at the scene. It is not clear if any arrests were made. (Barbados Nation)
