Wales wallop Wotton

WEYMOUTH WALES’ pursuit of a domestic double is alive and kicking, as the country’s number one side continued their relentless pace with another emphatic win in the Stag Champions Cup at the Wildey AstroTurf on Sunday night.

The defending champions thumped Wotton 6-0 en route to the final eight, with Riverre Williams bagging a hat-trick, plus goals from Walton Burrowes, Renaldo Marques and the ever impressive Romario Harewood.

In other games, Paradise advanced with a 5-1 win, making light work of Barbados Youth Service, thanks to a Zico Phillips hat-trick.

He scored in the 60th, 66th and 68th minutes, adding to strikes from captain Armando Lashley (30th) and Demar Linton (91st). (ML)
