Cannabis plants seized during operation

POLICE SEIZED 984 cannabis plants on Monday in two rural parishes. 

Members of the Marine Section and the Tactical Response Unit (TRU) conducted drug eradication operations in several areas and plants from seedlings to two feet in height were confiscated. 

At Cherry Grove, St  John, 452 plants were found while 449 were seized at Moore’s Land in the same parish. Eighty-three plants were discovered at Welchman Hall, St Thomas. 

No arrests were made. (PR/NB)
