Digicel treats for 11-Plus students

AS MANY STUDENTS across the island continue to bask in the excitement of their results in this year’s Barbados Secondary Schools’ Entrance Examination, a number of the top achievers had another reason to smile yesterday.

That was when telecommunications company Digicel congratulated them on their recent achievements successes with gifts of several spanking new LTE-enabled Samsung tablets.

The presentation, held at Digicel head office Warrens, St Michael, was attended by the 2017 top student, Jovan Linton of Blackman and Gollop Primary, who along with top girl Tishani Jordan of Christ Church Girls’, will attend Queen’s College. Considered Most Improved (girl), Vanessa Wiggins also of Christ Church Girls’ will attend the Deighton Griffith Secondary and Most Improved (boy) Ethan Small of Blackman and Gollop will transition to The St Michael School in September.
