A MAN WHO in a fit of anger spray-painted a house he was renting will have to compensate the landlord.
Peter Augustus Lewis, 27, of Manchester Road, Brittons Hill, St Michael, pleaded guilty on Tuesday to damaging Anderson Walkes’ house without lawful excuse between March 7 and 8.
The District “A” Magistrates’ Court heard that Lewis rented the house with his mother and brother. On the date of the offence, Walkes was contacted and told to check his property.
When he did so, he saw red spray-painted lines on the outer and inner walls on part of his house. Investigations led to Lewis and he was arrested. (TKS)
