Bajan beach culture making waves

BRIAN TALMA’S beach culture concept has been grasping the attention of surfing magazines across the globe.

The windsurfer told MIDWEEK SPORT he recently received coverage in German windsurfing and kitesurfing issues for July, which has been the reason behind his diligent work.

“The reason I am pushing so hard is because the windsurfing world has recognised me in a feature story where I am on a brand new cover for July. Presently for Germany in the windsurfing magazine we have the cover and seven pages and in the kitesurfing magazine we have 11 pages,” Talma said.

He said his vision was to showcase Barbados in a light that would keep visitors coming to the island and allow them to experience the beach culture, which can be considered the best in the world. (RG)
