Charles shuts down Maple

NIKOLAI CHARLES TOOK nine wickets for 26 runs to bowl CounterPoint Wanderers to a two-day victory over Home Improvement Hardware Maple in the Barbados Cricket Association’s Elite Division competition yesterday.

The Barbados Pride leg-spinner’s remarkable spell orchestrated a Maple collapse as the home team crashed to 43 all out in their second innings at Trents.

Charles’ outstanding effort handed Wanderers victory by an innings and 43 runs with a day to spare.
