Seven Port workers singing for title

THE ANNUAL Port Authority Calypso Monarch Competition got started with a biting song from Waindy Nos HD Taylor called Fighting Spirit.

He sang before a packed audience in Shed 3 that included Minister of Tourism Richard Sealy, general secretary of the Barbados Workers’ Union Toni Moore, National Cultural Foundation CEO Cranston Browne and Sir Roy Trotman.

Seven contestants are set to face the judges.
