Controversy over Junior Kadooment winner

IT SEEMS THAT bashment of another kind is brewing at the Junior Kadooment level.

Less than 24 hours after the official results were released crowning Kevin Small and Fifth Element Kiddies Band – Candy Land 246 as the Best Junior Band, several bandleaders have questioned the results.

Veteran bandleader Gwyneth Squires was among the most vocal and has revealed that those bandleaders will be filing an official objection to the National Cultural Foundation (NCF).

Squires, who placed second overall, told Starcom Network the bandleaders would be filing the objection as they believed that Small did not have enough overall prizes to beat Trevor Nicholls, who placed third overall. (AD)
