LIL RICK IS begging for peace.

While his song Energy helped him to walk away from the MQI/98.1 The One Soca Royale with the Party Monarch title on Sunday night, it was also intended to send a message.

“I just want the youngsters to stop with the violence,” a hoarse Lil Rick told the DAILY NATION hours after his winning performance.

The veteran artiste, whose real name is Rickey Reid, explained that was the reason behind the lyrics to his hit tune. (RB)
