A ST LUCY man was remanded to prison today after appearing in court charged with unlawful possession of a firearm and five rounds of ammunition.

Twenty-six-year-old Ramon Rheco Renaldo Boyce of Peterses Gap, Josey Hill was arrested on Sunday during an “illegal fete” at Collins, St Peter.

He appeared before Magistrate Wanda Blair in the Holetown Magistrates Court and was remanded until August 30.

Police say members of the Antigun Unit also recovered a shotgun from the area but no arrest was made in that regard. (PR/NB)
