Bandleaders plea for order

BARBADOS LIGHT Foreday Mornin’ Jam bandleaders are worried about security on the road tonight.

Leader of Green Lizards, Jahmal Springer said that in past years unregistered revellers had penetrated bands and made themselves a nuisance to paid patrons. They are hoping that there’s no such problem on this occasion.

“This year we still have to make sure the revellers don’t interfere with the paid members of the band,” the head of Colorz Entertainment, Bryan Worrell, said. “This is something we have been fighting with for a long time and the unregistered revellers are always a problem impacting the movement of the band.”

Ensuring unwanted people are kept out would improve the numbers for the event, he noted. (TG)
