BLP: Don’t let threats scare you

THE BARBADOS LABOUR PARTY is advising Barbadians not to cower to criminal threats and has pledged its support to the crime-fighting efforts of the police.

In a statement yesterday, the BLP said that if threats proved to be genuine they should be resisted by reporting the offenders to the police to help get rid of the growing menace.

“Increased violent crime in our society does not benefit anybody,” shadow attorney general Dale Marshall said in a press statement yesterday.

It is a scourge that has to be eliminated for the safety and peace of mind of all Barbadians regardless of their partisan perspective. (AC)
