RACHEL SMITH AND Damien “Force Ripe” Taylor won the National Cultural Foundation’s Bridgetown Road Tennis Tournament in contrasting styles when the event climaxed on Spring Garden on Sunday.

Smith, who had ended second best in most of her finals, played impressively to defeat a growing talent in Maudlyn Blunt 22-20, 21-18 in front of a large crowd.
