MONDAY’S REPUBLIC BANK Grand Kadooment ended six weeks of the Sweetest Summer Festival.

Thousands in 23 registered bands and thousands more in the free Revellers Band made their way from the National Stadium to Spring Garden. It was a sea of colour on a hot day for revellers and spectators alike.

Masqueraders danced, jumped and chipped to the latest Crop Over hits from DJ and live acts. A number of popular entertainers were spotted on the road.

The Sanitation Service Authority moved swiftly to clean the streets. However, the Royal Barbados Police Force had a busy day as there were a number of violent incidents. (TTY)
