STORIES FROM MONDAY’S fatal shooting keep coming in as vendor Lashann Whyte told the DAILY NATION of her harrowing experience.

While she did not see Tereid Rock, 20, of 3rd Ave, Chapman Lane, St Michael, lose his life; she did tend to a woman who was shot as part of that same incident.

“I was the last vendor on the road, near Parris Gap. I was in my stall and when the shots rang out I had to run and lie on the ground with my kids.

“Whoever it was, they were running towards my stall and I could hear the shots coming closer – I thought it was fireworks until I saw people running,” she said. (CA/PR)
