Man charged for possessing ammunition

MEMBERS OF THE Anti-Gun Unit have arrested and charged Rasheed Omar Haynes, 28, of 5th Ave, Akins Land, Eagle Hall, St Michael, for unlawful possession of 50 rounds of ammunition.

These offences were allegedly committed yesterday along Fontabelle, St Michael.

Members of the Anti-Gun Unit were on duty in Fontabelle, when they observed Haynes standing outside a motor car. A subsequent search revealed the ammunition in his possession.

He was arrested and charged for the offence.

Haynes is expected to appear in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court tomorrow. (PR)
