A CONSULTATIVE PROCESS on crime has started among the churches, organisations and businesses located in the City.

The first emergency meeting was held today at Hilton Barbados at the urging of the City Development Foundation which is headed by Henderson Williams.

Williams will be the Democratic Labour Party’s candidate for The City of Bridgetown in the next General Election.

A large contingent from various churches in the island attended the meeting and participants aired their concerns about the crime situation and posited some possible solutions.

Follow-up consultative meetings are expected in the near future. (LK)
