Maxwell folk fixing road

THE BADLY-DAMAGED Maxwell Coast Road is finally being fixed.

That news would undoubtedly make residents happy, if only it was not them who were shelling out thousands of dollars to repair it themselves.

In the baking midday sun yesterday, a few irked residents watched as a “Bobcat” laid out marl in an attempt to fill the pothole-infested path in the Christ Church district.

They told the DAILY NATION the road had rapidly deteriorated due to the constant traffic of construction trucks from the nearby luxury property, Sandals Royal Barbados. (AD)
