Young Tridents in play-offs

YOUNG BAJAN TRIDENTS have booked their ticket in the play-offs of the CONCACAF Under-15 Championships at the IMG Academy in Florida.

The national team drew with Puerto Rico 2-2 in their return match yesterday morning, with goals scored by Adiola Grant and Andre Applewhaite.

They had previously beaten their opponents 2-0 in their first match on Tuesday, after goals were scored by Thierry Gale and Nazario Adamson in the last minutes of the second half.

Barbados qualified for the play-offs top of Group D with ten points, ahead of Puerto Rico, who finished on four and Guadeloupe, who finished with none.

Young Tridents will play Suriname today. (RA)
