Free pass works for BADD

Robert Bishop and Corey Stanford are among a list of winning drivers gaining free admission to the Launch Control 3 event being staged by the Barbados Association of Dragsters and Drifters (BADD) at Bushy Park today.

Chairman Jason Downey said it was an incentive to club members.

“The club’s executive decided to generate more life into the club’s affairs since some drivers wait until the last moment to register, which puts pressure on the club in its plans for the staging of the various events, but the club is happy with the response to the practice day at Bushy Park last Saturday,” he said.

Downey said that after the mid-season break club officials were very pleased with the response to the recent practice.
