GOVERNMENT MAY BE losing substantial revenue from the Court Process Office.

That is because a critical shortage of court marshals has been affecting the serving of summonses and the collection of fines.

The shortage is also having a negative impact on the collection of child maintenance, especially at a time when mothers are depending on financial support to send their children back to school.

The SUNDAY SUN was told by a source close to the department that it needed an additional 25 employees in order to adequately service the entire country. (MB)
