JENEVA MILLER IS the first beneficiary of the Barbados Football Association’s (BFA) scholarship programme.

BFA president Randy Harris told the MIDWEEK SPORT that as part of its budget this year, the BFA made the decision to offer two scholarships to young footballers.

“The BFA was able to offer Jeneva its first scholarship through funds secured from CONCACAF and will be paying all her expenses for the four years,” he said.

“While we wish her every bit of success in her endeavours, and we are certain she would represent Barbados to the best of her ability, under the arrangement she is required to make herself available to the women’s senior football team should they require her services.” (RA)
