KINGSTON – A pastor, who has been accused of having getting a 12-year-old girl pregnant, will return to court on October 5 after he was offered J$1.5 million bail on Wednesday.

Pastor Kenneth Blake, 52, of the Harvest Temple Apostolic Church, appeared in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court charged with rape, forcible abduction, grievous sexual assault, sexual touching and sexual intercourse with a person under 16 years old.

He had surrendered to the police on August 15.

His attorney, Abel Son Foote told the court that his client has never touched the child and that the allegations arose out of malice from the mother who is unhappy that she is no longer being financially supported by the pastor.

Media reports indicated that the pastor allegedly had a relationship with the mother who was the church treasurer. (CMC)
